Become a Member

Ontario Healthcare OD Network ("OHODN") membership is open to all internal OD practitioners working in healthcare in Ontario. There are currently 180 internal OD practitioners who make up this Network across 70 healthcare organizations. 97% of member organizations are hospitals. All organizations belong to one or more Ontario Health Teams ("OHTs") in the Province.

Who Qualifies as an OD Practitioner?

Due to the size and complexity of healthcare organizations, OD Practitioners fill a wide variety of roles and hold a wide range of titles. For our purposes, an OD Practitioner is anyone who is interested in honing "the art of influencing the behavior of human systems to improve the well-being, performance, and prosperity of said system" (Aiken, 2025). If this sounds like you and you work as an internal member of a healthcare organization in Ontario, apply for OHODN membership below!

Testimonials

“Beginning to appreciate the value of the resources we have - have several times shared insights gleaned or shared on Microsoft Teams with my VP to help inform their decision-making on policy. Also feel that it has empowered us to become more assertive on the strategic role of OD to reset expectations on the value we contribute beyond event management.”
